We continuously strive to use Lavendaire as a force for good in all ways. We believe in sustainability, transparency, and giving back to the world and our local communities.

Sustainability

We're committed to minimizing plastic and using recyclable materials in our packaging, striving to leave as little impact on the earth as possible. All items are made with recycled materials and are recyclable.

All of our printed products use FSC-certified paper* and food grade inks. The Artist of Life Workbook and Daily Planner are covered in vegan leather.

The workbook and planner arrive to you in durable 1000g cardboard boxes made of recycled materials, and we encourage you to reuse these boxes in creative ways. Our team uses the boxes to organize our stationery, beauty products, and craft supplies. How will you reuse and make the most of your boxes?

Conscious Production

The Artist of Life Lounge Set was created ethically & locally in Los Angeles, CA, where Lavendaire is based. For more transparency, we dedicated a page to share more details on how the lounge set was made: Conscious Production

giving back

We wish for everyone to become an artist of life, but we recognize some need a little extra help in their journey. A portion of proceeds from the Artist of Life Workbooks have gone toward organizations and efforts dedicated to those in need:

Pencils of Promise – a non-profit organization building schools and providing educational programming in Ghana, Guatemala, Laos, and Nicaragua.

Feeding America – a network of 200+ food banks feeding over 46 million people through food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and other community-based agencies

Boys & Girls Clubs for America – a national organization of local chapters providing after-school programs for young people to become productive, caring, and responsible citizens

• United Way LA County Pandemic Relief Fund – a fund supporting unsheltered and sheltered homeless residents vulnerable to the coronavirus, and low-income households at risk of homelessness and hardship due to the coronavirus

*Note from The Lavendaire Team — Several of our products contain manufacturing details that indicate they were printed using "recycled paper". As of October 2021, we learned that the paper used was actually "FSC-certified mix paper," which is only partially made of recycled materials. Nevertheless, "FSC-certified" denotes paper that is sourced in a socially and environmentally responsible manner. Moving forward, we will distinguish between products made with "recycled paper" and "mix paper."
